New Spreads

mialia

Hi,

I need to come up with some new spreads to do readings quickly. I look at celtic crosses as snapshots but I'm tired of that format. If anyone has a quick and accurate way to lay down the cards while doing a reading please let me know.

thanks!

I ask about the situation now and lay out three cards.
Then I ask what's blocking the querant or the situation and lay out another three underneath the first three.
Then I ask what they can do to get past this and lay out a final three.

Read across and down - reading down the columns helps you see how you can make something progress into the future.

You can adapt it to Past, Present, Future or Problem, Advice, Outcome - very adaptable and usable spread.

Another spread I use most of the time is a variation on a cross - The Cross of Advice: http://www.tarotforum.net/showthread.php?t=152600

Hi Sulis,

Thank you so much for your reply.

I've been trying this method and it's pretty helpful.

Thanks!
