Old English? Anybody?

Shalott

Hi,
Would anybody be interested in a study group for the Old English Tarot? Have I declared my love for this deck enough yet? LOL I had a thread going about this in the "Decks" section:
http://www.tarotforum.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=24104

and got more responses than I expected, and some very insightful ones. I've ordered and am awaiting two books on the Luttrell Psalter, and some of you have knowledge of the symbolism, if we all put our heads together, (Maggie Kneen: write a book! Please!) maybe we can crack this code! Just since the thread I had going I've gone back to this deck and am getting much more out of it. Since so many of us have put the deck aside because the symbolism is so obscure, maybe we can figure it out?

(I'm thinking of starting with the minors, since the majors aren't so challenging...)

:D

I just got this deck from Sravana...

Hi!

I'm interested in a Study of the Old English Tarot! :D

Let me know back.

I'll start with the Ace of Coins:

The Wheat bushel on the Coin in the air, is indicative (IMHO) to the thought prossess of, *I've Planted/Sown these seeds, and now I am going to Harvest from this investment of Time, Energy, and Money et cetera!*

This is abrieviated, because it's getting late for the night here, and I'm probably gonna have to crash in a bit. I'll return to this thread a bit later-on. ;)

Blessings,

Hi Folks,

If you want to start or join a study group please read this thread first: http://www.tarotforum.net/showthread.php?t=32949

Study Groups need structure and that usually means one thread per card.

If you want to begin the group then I'll start an index thread for it, just let me know.

Thanks,
