LOL... Bluemanticore and Moonbow*, you guys must have been dozing.. Cunninghams has quickly become my favorite book, (now I can feel smart too ). I see there are some other sources here that I may be interested in as well.

Pearls are of course not actually a stone but when one thinks about how they were created one can see that they have the powers of protection. Pearls were made to protect the little clam from a grain of sand.

Being a cancer myself I always been very ambivalent with pearls. One part of me love them for their water-energy and healing properties, the other side of me can't stand them because of the whole process of how they are made. It's like while a bit of the healing is in the pearls - so is a bit of the hurt that created it.
