Rough or Tumbled? Which do you prefer

I much prefer tumbled to rough, unless it's a larger specimen. They just look and feel better to me when tumbled. I especially love polished spheres.

Most of mine I prefer rough cut, but there are a few like moonstone, tiger eye etc that just don't look the same without tumbling.

I do seem to feel the most energy off the rough ones though.

There are some stones that I prefer tumbled, like kyanite and moonstone, and others that i prefer rough. There are also many stones that I don't have a preferance with. So my answer would be both! I think with me it depends more on the stone's energy rather than it's shape. I have been known to go shopping for tumblestones and coming back with rough stones of the same mineral.

If I am drawn to a particular stone or crystals, it does not matter. I'll buy it.
I have many rough pieces, as well as tumbled. I also have some that are going through the process of being tumbled. They are sort of like myself...
