Seasons / Directions of the Heart spread

First timer, so please bare with me.

I wanted a spread that gave a good overview of a future relationship, the full cycle if you will. So here is what I came up with

Seasons / Directions of the Heart

1- North / Winter : When / how you will meet, or become close
2- East / Spring : Conflicts and compliments, are you compatible
3- South / Summer: Type of relationship, interactions, themes or patterns
4- West / Fall : Commitment / long term potential, resolutions, outcomes

5- Who : The person whom this spread is about


This spread is for a future relationship between you and another person, so not just love. That relationship can be for friends, family or potential lovers. It can show a faze in a relationship, a passing friendship, or it can show something more long term and significant.
I usually use reversals, but felt it was out of place in this reading.

I'm fond of thinking in terms of seasons and directions, helps me to see the big picture sometimes, in a simple and straightforward manner. I could modify this for other purposes, I believe.

I gave this a quick spin. actually, it was very accurate I feel for the type of relationship I asked about.
I use reversals and so I used it here anyway. I think it added a level of accuracy to the situation at least for me.
