strings of life
The focus is seven females standing on a bridge which looks like it is in Central Park, New York City. They appear to be focused on different things. The card is black and white, but one figure has a greenish tint to her, the others a purplish hue.
The one figure with the greenish hue, is standing on a railing, looking out, her parasol behind her as opposed to over her head. The greenish tint is symbolic of life and growth. She is the focal point on the card and stands above the rest, but barely. She is balancing on a guard rail on the bridge. One slip and she will fall. Is she steady?
Two girls wearing white dresses with parasols above their head are looking at her. They white in their dresses is symbolic of their innocence and their vulnerability. Another walks on the bridge and looks over the bridge, two other figures stand back to back, one looking at us, the one looking in another direction, another is shown at the bottom of the card, about to walk up the bridge, but is looking down. The purplish hue is symbolic of something mysterious in the air. The four woman in this card are holding their own, but the one woman balancing on the guard rail is above the rest. She seems confident in her stance and doesn't even seem to be concerned with the fact that she might fall and slip. One foot is firmly placed on the railing and one is slightly forward, yet she appears steady. She is. In every shape and form she is standing her ground. She glows amongst the others. A
There is a man in the distance who is on the bridge, casually sitting on the stone border. He is simply viewing the spectacle, a curious onlooker. He is the only figure that is black and white.
I see this card as illuminating various degrees of focus and position. There isn't a fight to stand ground. One person is, the others complacent or just observers. If any of them take action, they may be able to stand on the guard rail as well. Would their be a fight?
