Strange reading from a storefront reader.

Recently, a friend and I were visiting a metaphysical shop that had a sign out front offering tarot readings. As soon as I mentioned that both of us read cards, the salesperson demurred, telling us that the card reader was indisposed, giving some lame excuse why he could not read. I remember thinking that he was probably the reader, and did not want to face the prospect of reading for two people who could not be conned (just in case that was what he was into).

Wow. I'd be a little suspicious too, at first glance!

It could have also been that he felt intimidated by your knowledge. Maybe he thought, "If I read for them, they'll pick everything I say apart." If so, he's probably not a very confident reader. None of the readers that I've told seemed bothered by it. *Shrug*

I agree with Minotaur here. Also, from what i've read there was no time period offered to cover the supposed coming events. No - a lot of cobblers - and i definitely wouldn't go back either !
