2 of swords... Kristina of Denmark, who apparently wasn't too happy about being asked to marry Henry VIII after he'd had Anne Boleyn executed. "If I had two heads I might marry him" she's reputed to have said. heh, heh.

He did take Anne of Cleves as a next-best option though, so it was a very good guess
Perhaps Holbein deliberately made them look similar, to please the King. Henry certainly wasn't impressed when the 'Cow of Cleves' turned up and looked nothing like her portrait, and the marriage was annulled supposedly without being consummated.
Temperance is another Tudor link. The young Catherine of Aragon, before her marriage to Arthur and then his younger brother Henry VIII.

There's no way that enough material exists to make the deck I want from just the Tudors' circle though, but you're on the right track. Well, at least in terms of me being inspired by back-stories when I decide which card to place certain historical figures on. You don't need to know who they are for the card to get across it's message though - it should show in their face (well, that's my intention...). Sometimes the portrait is of an unknown sitter, and so I imagine the back-story while I work on the card.
I will be doing a podcast discussing the deck soon, so keep an eye on
http://www.tarotconnection.net/ if you don't already (you should - the podcasts are fascinating!). Pretty much 'all will be revealed' then, so I should save up any more questions people post here and answer them in the interview there. And you'll get to hear my accent
