This card reminds me quite a lot of The Wheel of Fortune, which is appropriate since they are both 10s..
In the centre of the image is a large, white circle and around it's edge are arranged 10 stemless cups or goblets, their rims directed towards the circle, the area surrounding them, around the edge of the card is black.
The cups are arranged so that 5 are at the top of the circle and 5 are at the bottom. The top row of 5 cups have beams of coloured light coming out of each cup and connecting them to the bottom cups in a special pattern.
Each of the top cups contains 5 threads - one colour per cup.
Cup 1 - red
Cup 2 - orange
Cup 3 - yellow
Cup 4 - green
Cup 5 - blue
One thread from each top cup goes to each of the bottom cups so each of the 5 bottom cups contain threads from each of the top ones. This means that the bottom cups have multi-coloured instead of containing just one colour.
It's all about connection.
To me 10s are about the end of one cycle, the start of the next. They are about moving onto the next level without forgetting what has gone before. So this card is about moving on to the next level emotionally. That may mean taking a relationship forward, it may mean the end of something - context is everything.
It's also about being connected to other people through emotional ties so it can be about family, friends and situations about those things.
Sometimes the 10s show too much of their element so this could also show a very emotional response or a situation with too much emotion and the need to reign it in a bit and try to stay grounded and be realistic.. There is an element of fantasy and unreality with the 10 Cups, usually expressed in RWS style decks by the rainbow showing the illusion of 'happy ever after'.
The rainbow colours of the strands linking these cups also makes me think of this. There is no such thing as happy ever after - for ever is a long time and all relationships need commitment and effort.
As with all of the Cups cards, sometimes cups can be quite literal and show alcohol or drugs being involved somewhere, substances that expand the mind but can also make things seem different to how they really are in some way.
Any more thoughts on this one are welcome.. I'm finding it quite a difficult image to get into.
