I did think about donating everything to a museum, but isn't that bad too because people will still be exposed to the material?

In the past few years I've have to give up so many things I love do to illness.

A museum that understands what they are can handle them safely and use them for an educational display. But you should do what you feel is best and what you are most comfortable with. And I hope you feel better having them out of the house.
