Where to get a corner-rounder?

Hooked on TdM

I have the third one listed from Amazon called :Corner Rounder Open Stock-Rounded

I got it from the Micheals store. I used it to corner the Noblet. I had to use my heel to get enough strength to push it down to clip the corners. Once I got that figured out though it worked great.

shamoness, the UK link you gave doesn't seem to have one. I tried searching for 'corner rounder', 'corner trimmer', then a number of similar terms - no luck.
I wonder what they call them - if they've got them....

It´s definitely corner rounder... but it was difficult finding a bog standard one; I went a to a craft mega-store in Cheshire and they had zillions; but they snipped stars and birds and florid flowers and hearts and god knows what else into card corners (for wedding invitations and stuff)

I bought a normal corner rounder - the sort you are looking for - in a tiny craft shop in my home town. If you have no luck between now and Xmas, let me know, I can pick one up for you when Im back and arrange to get it to you :)

Hi Bernice,

I've been looking around for corner rounders too - I found one I might order - I'll put the link in so you know what to look for.

I've found other craft sites sell them too - its just knowing what to call them for the search engine.

I'm itching to trim the Liber T but I want to get everything ready before I start and its the punch I've had most trouble locating but the one in the link seems to be the same style as I've found on other craft sites. :)

Edit - I've just realised that one is out of stock - ok - I'll have another look around - even the best laid plans don't always work lol

Edit - Another link

Emily - thank you for that link. I've been & seen. So pleased that someone in the UK has them! I'm a bit concerned about the info at the top of the page:

"Please remember that they are designed for paper and very thin uncoated card ONLY."

Wondering if it will be O.K for cardstock, doesn't sound too likely....

Le Fanu, that's a very thoughtful offer of yours. Many thanks. I'm thinking I might have to take you up on it. Can I pm you if a suitable one can't be found in UK?

Bee :)

Yes of course you can Bee, though after my last trimming session, don´t be surprised if you spot a corner cutter up for grabs in Tarot Trading... :)

'lo Emily,

The 'Carl Corner Rounder Punch A (CP06/A)' does look promising (£3.99). Thanks Emily. Will check it out tomorrow for p+p etc. Also see if they have a 'physical' shop (be nice if a branch was nearby...).

Many thanks to you Le fanu :)

Does anyone happen to know a source for corner rounders in Germany? Heck, I'm in one of the biggest cities of the country, there must be a shop where I can go to and get one!

But alas, every shop I've been to so far (from Staples to small specialist craft stores) only ever had the ones that Le Fanu described:

:( What happened to simple and elegant, without any extras?

UK corner rounder.

Good news for me (well, sort-of...). I can get to Cambridgeshire where the 'Carl Corner Rounder Punch A' is (Emilys last link). Can't get there for a while though.
The postage seems expensive = almost the same price as the item!

Hi Cat,
It surprises me too that you can't get one in Germany. It seems that the continent has tons of card decks that we in UK can't get (or the shops don't ship here), so why not have the corner rounders - it's become fashionable to trim decks and therefore a good selling product. I wonder if there are any German forums with some info about them?
