In- Body Experience

haleyw

Last night my friend had what can only be described as an 'in-body' experience. A guy came and took over his body for around 45mins. He said he used to live there (in is house) and he's passed on. He showed himself to him too. He's totally freaked out by it!

Does anyone have any experience or idea of what his can be?

So your friend was possessed by the spirit of the deceased?

BrightEye

Does he remember what happened during the possession?

Not good, unless your friend is working with channeling, has the proper protection, and invited this specific dude to come in and take over.

If he didn't ask this spirit to come in, that is bad news indeed. My advice in that case would be to bring in someone who can move that spirit along to where it needs to go. 45 minutes is a very long time for a spirit to be in possession of one's body, and that in itself says to me that this is a potentially problematic situation.

Yes, he remembers most of it.

So what happened during the possession?

I'm with Apollonia on this one, it's potentially not a good thing. I even wonder whether this was an entity that was only pretending to be the spirit of a deceased person and was in fact something else, and potentially more dangerous, altogether?

He's not!

Why do you think that it's so problematic? Or, at least he was at the time. He is very scared, but I am not quite sure what advice I can give to him.

Sorry, I get it now. We need to find someone to help.

How would you know?

I don't know but I think it would depend on what happened during the possession. I know spirit possession mainly through the African Caribbean context. Even there where possession is encouraged and desired, it is also potentially damaging to the individual who doesn't know how to control the spirit.
