A guy came and took over his body for around 45mins. He said he used to live there (in is house) and he's passed on. He showed himself to him too. He's totally freaked out by it!
Does anyone have any experience or idea of what his can be?

If he didn't ask this spirit to come in, that is bad news indeed. My advice in that case would be to bring in someone who can move that spirit along to where it needs to go. 45 minutes is a very long time for a spirit to be in possession of one's body, and that in itself says to me that this is a potentially problematic situation.
So what happened during the possession?
I'm with Apollonia on this one, it's potentially not a good thing. I even wonder whether this was an entity that was only pretending to be the spirit of a deceased person and was in fact something else, and potentially more dangerous, altogether?
