Questions to ask Lenormand

cje

I have been practicing Lenormand on myself and since I cannot keep asking my cards about love, work, and money every day... LOL...
I was wondering if you have any good questions that I could ask my cards? Something I will be able to check/confirm my interpretations.
I do my daily 3 cards reading and assess my reading in the evening, but I am looking for more practice on myself. Any suggestions?
Thanks!

I struggle with finding questions to ask the Lenormand too - I've asked so many questions about my dog that he's starting to get paranoid.

So I will follow this thread with interest. :)

I'm sorry, this will not directly answer the question. I have found that I read the cards more clearly when I have a question I really want an answer to, rather than a "practice" question. That is good news when I really want an answer. :)

You made a good point! Usually I cannot come up with a question, because I simply don't really need/want to know about anything in specific, other than the main: love, money, work and how to get it ;)

My daily practice is a 9-question spread of paired cards (18 cards total). The instructions and idea came from the Gilded Reverie deck. I find it to be an awesome way to utilize the cards while sharpening my focus, without overusing the same questions every day. Since the questions are based on a daily focus, you aren't looking too far ahead and expecting different results for the same questions.

I know you are already doing a 3-card daily reading, but perhaps expanding on that would help. If you are interested, I can post the 9 questions and exact layout :)

I'm an not the person you replied to, but could you please? I'm sure other folks (myself included) would find it helpful.

Thanks!

Sure! I've found this to be a good exercise, but some of the readings have been a bit off, especially if I'm grouchy or trying to do it quickly. I honestly think it's too much to bite off before I've had my morning coffee. HA!

1. Someone you will meet, what comes out of that meeting.
2. Someone you care about, what they will do.
3. Someone who annoys you, what they will do.
4. Something that will happen to console you.
5. Something that awaits you.
6. Something that will help you.
7. Something that will happen, which is a surprise to you.
8. Something that you desire, whether it will happen or not.
9. Something nice.

Today instead of the 9-question I did just a 5-card "what should be my focus for today" after completing my morning routine instead of trying to start with the big chunk. That worked out a bit better for me, I think.

Lol lol lol! I myself can not ask questions of the Lenormand, no matter what. So I just use the Tarot for questions. I learnt Lenormand from the Titania Fortune Cards, and she said it was best not to ask questions and being new way back then and not knowing better that's what I did, now if I do ask a question it's all gobble de gook! But it does not seem to matter what I need to know does come up and the same for when I read for other people.

What about just doing a reading in the morning asking what your day will be like? I bet something will happen that you didn't think about, but your cards were spot on. It would help you make new associations that you didn't think about and add them to your journal.

Or, do the same every time you're going to a specific event.

Ask mundane questions like what date will you receive the cheque that's in the mail for you. Order something online, ask what day you'll get it.

You pull 2 cards for each of these questions?

Do you also read the spread as a whole, or as a series of 2-card spreads?
