My Chi babies ARE "dawgs!!!" and sometimes "dang" dawgs!!! lol...

~ but mostly loving little cutie pies...my mommy Chihuahua comes to me,
gets right in my face with her "giant" shiny root beer colored eyes to see how I
am doing...she is the Pisces...she thinks she is a little nurse...lol

...and mysticmanth...thanks for "more" healing vibes...can use those right
now as I am about to get up and fix lunch...more ice, etc.
The numb has worn off and I can move ankle (carefully)...but ah...
the true test will be when I get out of this wonderful OVERstuffed chair (love it)
and take a test step towards powerchair and the kitchen!!!

BTW...my overstuffed, swivel, rocker chair has Temperpedic foam on it...
like being on a cloud...wonderful and helping to ease the ouchies!!!

I learned something else because of this...whenever I see ANY threads asking
for prayers for healing or asking for positive thoughts...I WILL be posting and
sending as much love, healing prayers, and kind & positive thoughts that I can!!!
It really does help the sick person to have courage and brings some laughs to
help them endure their unfortunate situation.
This forum is SOOOO IMPORTANT IN SO MANY WAYS!!!

Lyn, I have this mental image of a tiny Chihuahua nurse, dressed in the old-fashioned way with a cap on her little head... - (gosh, on a whim I googled and there is actually a figurine of just such a Chihuahua nurse! ) I bet she's doing a good job, though. I was once so sick and thought if I ever get out of this bed and put my feet on the floor and walk I will be grateful for everything, good, bad and inbetween. Since then no matter whatever comes along and I start getting on the pity bus I tell myself that and I am grateful.

It really works so I am thinking about you Tarotlyn and every night when I get into bed I think how grateful you must be that even though your ankle hurts you are in bed and hopefully will not have to get up again for a while.

Similar situation to memries.
When i had my operation on my jaw, and i couldnt open my mouth at all for 6 weeks, i couldnt wait just to be able to open my mouth a little bit. I realised that everyone takes this for granted and it is horrible not being able to open your mouth as it is tight shut etc.

Now i appreciate the fact of being able to open my mouth, talk, and eat as i couldnt do none of that for over 6 weeks.

Hi! everyone!

I was SOOOO sick last night...not from my ankle, but from red cocktail sauce
(tasted like speggitti sauce) and shrimp... Wow that sat on my
stomach like a heavy brick for hours...till I upped it in the bathroom
and then felt better.

Also thought maybe I had taken too much VICODIIN and Ibuprofen all day...
So took no pain relief all night...and this morning I was able to stand on it...
and take some steps (carefully)...swelling was way down but back again...by afternoon...
took 1/2 vicodin...WITH FOOD. Feeling ok right now...ankle is still sore but much better...

Oh, and I found that angels leave you if you have a potty mouth!!!
I'll be good now.Honest...well I will try

Here is what I posted in the "mercury retrograde thread":
(exactly how I did this to my ankle):

On Sept 29th... I slipped and fell on my back with my right foot bent "under
my leg...so "not" bent sideways but my toes and foot were bent back "under"
and towards the heel of my foot. Luckily nothing seems broken because at
the same time I had a LOT of positive planetary aspects operating also.

One more thing:

I KNOW THE REASON this happened to me:
This has been a true lesson regarding "understanding Michael, hubby."
I was nagging him because he kept getting stuck up against the door frames
with his power chair. I thought he was turning too sharp...and for some
reason he just couldn't correct the problem.

Here was the lesson: While using his chair (during my ankle ordeal), I discovered
that the right arm of his new power chair was set IN too far so he could not
judge the distance of the back wheel, and so he was hitting the door frames.

Well guess what, I did the same thing I had bugged him about.
So now I have fixed the right arm out further and he is one happy wheel chair camper!!!

I believe that is why all this has happen to my ankle...so I could walk in his shoes (wheel chair)
- one way to get my attention!!!

Yep, it sure has been a great learning eperience, one in which I picked for
myself before I came into this body!!!

Thanks again you guys for all of your caring and prayers...it is still healing!!!

That is good Tarotlyn I am glad it is showing signs of recovery.

Yes pills are awful with no food and awful with food as well. I hope soon, once you can dump the pain pills you will feel better. I don't think any of the present financial worries helped you either.

So glad you're feeling a bit better, and glad also that you've inadvertently helped Michael out (what a hard lesson that was!). I've spoken to your "head nurse" and told her not to let you overdo things today, and to send you to the doc if necessary!
