A knife and a yeti

I dreamt I was riding on the back of a motorcycle, an unknown woman was driving (but she did look a bit like me). It was night time. She was patroling the area, looking for "the monster" and I was just catching a ride. The area looked like a children's fantasy park.
She stopped in front of an alley of sorts and there was a knife on the ground. I got off the bike to pick up the knife, and that is when the monster appeared. It was a great big, white, yeti and it started chasing me.
I managed to get away by jumping on top of a fence, running the length of it. I knew that if I jumped down to either side, the yeti would get me.

Why on earth would I dream of a yeti?

*laughs* I just looked up the yeti

To see a yeti in your dream, suggests that you need to learn to find balance between your reasonable, rational side and your emotional, instinctual nature.

and there I went, jumping onto a fence. So what was the knife about I wonder?
