About Rune Stones, do they work? How?

I'm open to learning new things, so far I have tried oracles and don't believe they work for me. But I am wanting to learn about divination, crystal balls, and rune stones.

Rune stone seem very complicated, so if you know about them and have experience, then I'd love your help. :]

Do they work, how do they, how can you read them, what can you use them for, and anything else that you know.

divination tools do not 'work'
We do the 'work', they simply provide a means to an end. If it were as easy as picking up a tool, everyone would do it.
