If their question is still not answered and a little discussion and clarifying from me doesn't do it, then I do more cards for them. It's their reading and getting their answer is the whole point of doing it in the first place.
I'm not the sort who won't take the sitter's question. Sure, it's an ego boost when the sitter is dazed and amazed that I got the answer without hearing the question. It's also kind of an easy way out, where I can read the cards in front of me in general and then tell the sitter that the Universe is answering what they
should know, not what they thought they wanted to know. I mean, how can I go wrong?
Well, I go way wrong because the sitter has a right to have their reader address the question they're concerned about unless they've said they just want a general reading. I don't want anyone who sits with me to go away still having the same questions and concerns they came to me with. The exception to that is when the cards clearly tell me that the information isn't to be known at that time which does happen once in a great while.
I also prefer hearing background. It helps me get the best information for them from the cards when I know something surrounding their concerns.
If a sitter wants a general reading or just thinks I'm supposed to "know" the question without being told, that's okay, too. I
don't know because I read cards, I don't read minds but if they want to fool around like that, it's up to them. I'll do it. Then I'll join in their amazement when they get their question answered.
Each reader has a way they read the best, and whatever works for you is what you should do. The above is what works best for me.
