Isidore Tarot

I thought I should share this:

Personally, I'm going to pass (alas!), as I don't think I could read with it. But it's so gorgeous...

These people are the creators of the Sepia Tarot and the Black Ibis Tarot, which are equally beautiful (and probably unreadable) and harder to find than hen's teeth.

(I think I see Le Fanu rummaging around for his credit card... ;))

Listen here, you cannot take my place as the Enabler Extraordinaire !!! :D So stop unearthing these beauties!!!
It is quite beautiful and for some reason reminded me a lot of a deck I rarely use but cherish, the Fantastic Menagerie :

Yes! It did remind me of that one, and of their new Alice Tarot.

And you shouldn't be worried about anybody taking your place --remember, you're Prima Enablerina Assoluta! :D

This might look like the Fantastic Menagerie deck intentionally . On Pinterest it said that the art was based on the work of JJ Grandville. Isn't that who did the Fantastic Menagerie Tarot?

The style of art also reminds me of the work of John Tenniel (sp) who did the illustrations for the original Alice in Wonderland.

This deck is fabulous, and I really like it. I'd seen a few images from it some months back, and put it on my wish-list then.

Gee, it sure would be wonderful to have a never-ending stream of cash so I could buy all those wonderful arty things I adore!

So lovely! I see reading this in front of people.

JJ Grandville was an illustrator in the early 1800's. His illustrations are in the public domain. This deck and the Fantastic Menagerie are both collaged using his illustrations; this one incorporates public domain images from other sources as well, according to the web site.

Why, oh why did I not only click on this thread, but opened the links...?

Has anyone sent Gregory a link? <smiling with twisted innocence>

Which Sepia deck - I am puzzled; I do own one, but....
