My Homemade Cameo Box

Fulgour

I wanted to share a picture of the box I made for
my new Lasenic Tarot, purchased from Trigon. :)

:) Here's some good information on the deck:

"A seventy-eight-card tarot pack was produced in color shortly before World War II and reissued in a black and white edition, probably a facsimile, by Graphics Studio in Czechoslovakia. The black and white deck was used to illustrate the Czechoslovakian book published around 1938, Tarot klic k iniciaci (Tarot: Keys of Initiation) by Pierre Lasenic, the French name for Petr Kohout z Lasenice."

Wow, that's lovely. Did you remove the cameo from a brooch or make it yourself somehow?

Looks very nice on your box Fulgour.

That blue is my very favorite blue Fugour and the cameo on it is just splendid.

Really nice. I think Josiah Wedgewood would approve :) So do I.

Mesara

Very nice indeed. It goes with the cards beautifully.

I bought the Cameo four years ago at a nearby hobby store,
but recently on-line I found a treasure house of inexpensive
resin acrylic designs, with one shipping price for all multiples.
I chose over a dozen pieces and paid just $2.50 for postage.

The paint colours for the box, done in acrylic and coated
with decoupage, are Wedgwood Blue and Pinwheel Blue. :)

Debra

Beautiful. I'm craving those cards, but even more so with the box....what an inspiration!

Debra

Hm. You say your NEW Lasenic. So do you have two copies of this deck? I'm wondering (still enviously).
