question about remote viewing

if you have got this gift can you direct it? say you want to find the location of a certain person or thing, can you just switch it on and see?

i'm thinking of the missing girl from portugal madeleine mccann who disappeared a year ago

There are people out there doing it (for her in particular). Only time will tell if they are correct though.

It's happened to me before. I'm not really interested in directing it though.

melifluous, the reason behind the thread was the missing girl but also wanted to know how remote viewing works in practice, how does a remote viewer go about trying to see, i will do some reading up

When I said it's happened to me before, I meant remote viewing in general - not to do with her.
