Too Many Readings?

Can one do too many readings in one sitting?

Probably.

I have done multiple readings at a party - up to 12 in a single night. (I have never done 12 for myself!) Towards the end I see the same cards popping up over and over again, and have attributed it to some people not shuffling the cards enough and having someone else's reading 'still coming through.'

I've had this happen, but it turns out the cards were relevant after all (bit odd when I first started reading for actual people who were waiting to give FB rather than just using tarot as a kind of divination exercise about people who couldn't give FB). But I suppose you're the boss with your own decks and you can see when readings are still "coming through" or not.

Though how do you tell ?
