I dreamt the other night that I was doing Reiki. It was dark, but underneath my hands there was a glowing light. I remember I exclaimed, "My hands are on fire!" I am at level 2, but I never study or practice.

If you never practice, maybe that's why there was no control & your hands are 'on fire'? That'd be my best guess. Usually if you stick with the obvious in dreams, you're usually on the mark with the meanings.
