Cards to indicate cheating

I dont think so,i think wands would be more indicative of "not sexually satisfied",cups are more emotions, and looking at the man in the RW picture,"sexual dissatisfaction" is certainly not what springs to mind here,he just looks like he's had enough, sex is the last thing on his mind.
good point.

What about the ten of cups with tower and death together in the same spread?

First, of all I must say from professional experience, be careful with this subject. You are never 100% right, the cards can be read the wrong way, so I don't even like answering this for people. So, please explain to the person you read for that the cards are not an exact science and not to put any decision on them. I have been reading for 21 years, and people make mistakes. You do not want the Karma of breaking up a relationship because you were wrong.

That being said, usually. The Devil, the 3 of swords, the Lovers. NExt to a queen

Exactly! Be very, very careful answering questions like this. Don't LOOK FOR cheating, just pay close attention to signs that might show it for sure. It's a natural tendency when you get this question to start viewing the cards with an eye to seeing cheating and when you do it that way, you'll see it by mistake. You get what you look for sometimes, even if it's not there. Your mind just starts trying to make the cards fit the presumption. I'm not saying you'd maliciously look for those signs, I'm just saying that it's a natural reaction mentally. If somebody asks "is my partner cheating?", then you're naturally looking for cards that might indicate that and it sets you up to be susceptible to seeing what's really not there unless you keep yourself on track.

When reading for a woman about her husband/partner's relationship the one card in 40 years that has never failed me for cheating is the Queen of Pentacles (Queen of Diamonds) there are other combos but this one card sticks out. I rarely get male clients so I do not have a history for reading for males. I do agree that you must be very careful how you approach telling your client about what you see with any card. I don't come right out and say "your husband is cheating", we start a conversation like are there any other women whom you husband is close to...? I just help to open their eyes to all possibilites and their intuition. Over the years this queen has had over a 90% accuracy rate for me. When not an affair or other woman this card most often has been an meddling mother in law.

I recently had seven of swords, magician, and empress along with 10 of wands. I guess cheating can be a heavy load to carry. Also seven of wands and six of wands if combined with the previous cards -someone thinking they are victorious in their deceit and trickery.

i had a discussion with someone on if all cards around lets say 5 of pents, lovers and 3 of swords and 7 of swords, the moon those cards being in like a C/C to me id think someones lying and cheating with out a doubt.

now me and another person who does tarot cards said that may not have anything to do with it that it would come out like that if someone was worried but it didnt mean thats what it was

well my defense was if they are asking is the person cheating and those cards came up i would think duh yes. i mean a whole lot of them together.

Could someone tell me in there opinion from experiance for arguments sake what cards you have pulled in readings to represent someone cheating?

It is not the card but rather the reaction to the card that usually spills the beans in either direction as for cheated or cheater. One who is cheating knows, and it shows when the card is drawn, one who is being cheated on, often knows on some level and a card will draw out that truth. One who does not know, I feel it would be a rare thing indeed if we would call that card with any certainty, but certainly it happens with the best of the readers.

Thank for this. In the past I was tipped off by the cards to my husband's infidelity and it wasn't because I did a reading asking if he was cheating or not. I asked about his whereabouts because his excuse for not being home was odd. I actually was looking for clues pointing to him drinking (he is a recovering addict) and wasn't looking for cheating at all. But the reading raised my suspicions that he was cheating or thinking about cheating, so it prompted me to take a page from Nancy Drew and look for some specific evidence, which I quickly uncovered.

So while I think that the cards can provide one clues that someone may be lying, being dishonest, has more than one lover, etc, just as Grizabella said, you have to be careful not to start seeing what isn't there. Be open minded and not eager to jump to conclusions. And if the cards do point to something like cheating, look at it as an indicator that one needs to be more aware, to start asking more questions, and most importantly, start looking for concrete evidence for cheating.

Accusing a partner of cheating with only a reading as evidence could really backfire. The suspicions could unfounded and hurt the feelings of the other person as well create an atmosphere of mistrust. Tarot and/or the skills of the reader may also be called into question.

Plus, if someone is cheating and all the injured party has is a Tarot reading and maybe a gut feeling as evidence, well, I'm guessing a good number of cheaters are just going to lie through the teeth when confronted. (Which is what they have been doing all along away.) And then they may take the affair underground and which will make finding your evidence even more of a challenge.

Well funnily enough, as of late those cards mentioned above have been very prominent cards for me. I'm involved in a situation where my business partner has gone behind my back and stolen my business away from me. I guess you could call that 'cheating' but it doesn't involve sex, so it may be another interpretation of those cards perhaps.

For me, the 3 of swords, moon, devil and 7 of swords are cheating indicators. I've also seen the 2 of Pentacles come up for this.

great interesting ideas on the thread. There is many suggestions of cards representing "the other women" but wondered what cards might show an unreliable / other man, such as cheating in a gay relationship?

In my experience The 3/Cups Rx (three is a crowd) could be a sign of infidelity.
