The Tea Leaf Fortune Cards

missy

Missy, you kill me. You are SO enthusiastic! lol! ♥ you're cute.

LOL! So is this deck. :D

:p

So have you read with it yet? :D

Oh and don't forget to email Rae about your bag if you want it repaired. All it cost was the price of a first class stamp. :surprise: This is assuming the postal service doesn't tear the envelope to bits.

Missy, no, I haven't read with it except to draw out two cards at a time for myself, a friend, and my mate...but so far those two cards seem very accurate for each of our situations. I look forward to doing the annual spread, I will do it this weekend...I will post my feelings about it then. I really do like them, it is a challenge to learn something other than the tarot. ;)

And I have asked some friends to be my guinea pigs, lol! So that I can practice reading for others, too. Perhaps you and I can exchange readings in the Oracle threads, once I get the hang of the system?

Is there anyone who tried to do a daily draw with the cards? I have been thinking about the idea to pull three cards a day, but I maybe that's to many.. I would to hear some ideas or experiences..

I haven't been keeping up with blogs, but I know of two people who use these cards on their blogs for daily draws. I'll have to find the links, but I don't know if I can post them here.

I intended to do a weekly draw this entire year - I haven't used them since the day before my birthday in April. :( It's been a rough year.

Daily Draws of Tea Leaf Fortune Cards

Many people leave the Tea Leaf Fortune Cards in the bag and pull a single card as a guide for the day. This is my favorite way of doing a daily draw. However, this doesn't suit everyone. Some people I know pull two, others pull three, there is even one person I know who pulls four. Four is too many as far as I am concerned for a daily reading, but then again, if you were doing a daily tea leaf reading there could be as many as thirty symbols in the cup. It is really up to the person using the cards and doing what feels right for them. The cards are versatile and can be used in many different ways. Use them as the spirit moves you.

Thanks again for all the kind words about the cards:)

Lotus Padma, Sure, that sounds like fun! :D

I can't do it right now; have some other things on my plate, but it does sound like fun and maybe sometime in the near future we could exchange. :)

You're going to love them! Everytime my friends/family ask for readings, they always ask me to use the tea leaf cards!

Thanks Waka!! :D Maybe we can do some swaps? I cant believe there is 200 of them!! Wow!!

hugs xx

I received my repaired bag and would like to encourage anyone who has a bag that has ripped to contact Rae about getting it fixed. :) I really enjoy using the bag that came with the set :D Thanks, Rae!

Has anyone who has this deck tried to trim the words off the cards? I was thinking I could use a glass or something and make a smaller circle, cutting the words off. I don't mind the name of the card on there, but some of the meanings seems too limited for my taste.
