I can't find some of the other threads where we were talking about using various trading cards to create our own oracles, but I thought I'd post what I'm doing with them.
Most of the cards have a Faerie Type symbol in the upper right corner that could be used as suits.
Light ~ Dark
Fire ~ Water
Air ~ Earth
There are 4 colored stat boxes that could be used by adding the totals to get a certain number.
yellow border Basic Neopet - pips
gray border Experienced Neopet - Court
black border Villains, white border Heroes - single figure Majors
purple border Something Has Happened - Major Arcana
The red border Items are various tokens/charms (possibly the Aces?) and Food.
There are also blue border Petpets and Equipment.

For a playing card-based system, you would assign a Neopet or Petpet to each of the 52 cards. (There are 54 Neopet species, but 3 were not made into cards. However, there are a LOT of the smaller Petpets available to round things out.)
Just take it on down for Lenormand (36) or gypsy-style (32).
