Sun and 9 of Cups

How would you read these together as a future event? Or even in a general sense? Thank you.

That is along the lines I was thinking, I wasn't sure if there could be more to it or not. Thank you.

What joy and promise embodied in these two cards! Something surprisingly good or good for you to be sure...

You would think, yet things have been truly awful for a very long time, I have a hard time imagining anything that "good" coming along. I wondered if there might be a sense of exaggeration with these two cards, seems better than it really is sort of thing.

Some of that comes from the other two cards from the reading. I asked because I found myself focusing on those other cards, rather than trying to read these two. I kind of looked at these and thought, "hmph".
