5 of Pentacles as a place?

Any ideas what place could be indicated by the 5 of Pents? Just being outside, not inside? Or something more specific? Some further ideas I have: not at home; on a short sightseeing trip.

It is beside what seems to be a church. It is a location which can have snow. It could be in a country where there is no help, government or otherwise, for those in serious need, where no one gives a damn for those less fortunate. I.e., it could be just about anywhere in the temperate zones of the earth.

ETA. In the Waite deck, the scene is probably in Merrie Olde England.

Thank you. That's a very wide area I would say :).

5 Pentacles as a place

Country where economic system has broken down or unrest, no social orders.
Emigration Office or at a border of a country. Social Welfare Office.
Isolated place. A charity.

Window Shopping. Museum Visit.

Yes I too am thinking outside in the cold and or rundown derelect area/building. Poverty stricken streets & houses or place offering refuge, may even be church or community centre in a rundown part of town, could even symbolise alleyways & places of darkness. Depending on reading & question may even be a slight warning to keep yourself safe, there is a message here of seeking comfort, saftey, shelter, warmth but there is also a message of destitution & vulnerability so as a place I would just be a little careful if going somewhere or meeting someone but then its most likely just going to be a poor & cold country maybe.

I've actually thought the card signified a short trip abroad, yeah. But I suppose window shopping is a more viable option in this particular case.

Luckily, it wasn't about me going anywhere :) Clearly, the card doesn't depict a place where one would like to stay for long.

I had this for meeting someone outside a cathedral...we actually met online but in person we arranged to meet on the cathedral green...it has just stuck me this answer, I wondered what it meant for ages also, now I have just realised.

Yes, doesn't Tarot tend to be literal? I've recently drawn a knight with pink plumage for a guy wearing a pink T-shirt :D

being very broad after all the other great ideas, some place with a stained glass window. might be say a cafe or museum in an old church as well as a currently active church :)

Not so many buildings with stained glass windows in the place where I live, but it's definitely an idea, thanks.
