'Best' starter deck?

Not everyone likes any deck. This is exactly why a person, especially a beginner, should choose their own - it's hard enough to learn in the first place, without making it doubly difficult by trying to learn off a deck that you don't enjoy looking at.

i choose my own cards, and my first two decks were the da vinci enigma and the voyager. these two decks almost ruined my tarot experience. i like their looks, but as learning tools, they just aren't for beginners. now, i am truly in the beginners need help camp.

i really didn't like the way rider waite looked, but after my brush with what i perceived to be good looking cards, i finally learned that it is still the best starter deck for beginners.
