I have enjoyed reading how everyone got their name. I have often wondered about some of the names.

I got my name simply because I had an emerald by the computer when I was registering on AT. (a very tiny emerald) Of course there is also the fact that I am Irish and Ireland is often known as the Emerald Isle. I dont post much but I have thought about changing my name to something Celtic. No decisions made on that yet.

I see folks getting lovely avatars here. I replied here in September but that wasn´t going on then. I haven´t been using any avatar because I want one that is mine only. I´m planning to be a subscriber later and looking for an avatar of my own. So I would be very happy if I got one here.

Some hints: I like moon, trees (favourites being rowan tree and fir tree), cats and deep red roses. My significator is Queen of Swords, and my favourite colors are purple, green, turquoise, black and autumn colors. (I think I`ll also need some advice for how to use an avatar; I´m not very good at these things... )

...in my experience, I have found that when people say they
are "just joking"...they never are...
...why did they think it in the first place?

Raya, no, I never intended (nor do I intend) to recruit any paid memberships...
I was just missing my husband that passed away less than 2 months ago.
AND I wanted to give back to AT that stood beside me and LOVED me
and ENCOURAGED me through the whole sad event that lasted almost 1 year.

AT lived it with me, laughed with me and cried with me and has
and still is trying to help me heal and help me to go on...

So I just started doing these avatars about half way through this thread...

If you go to the beginning of this thread and read through, you
will see about when I started doing these...

I am not affiliated in any way with AT, other than as a member
and a LOVER OF AT...I am not a Moderator, or anything like that.

I am just filling my time with something I love doing.
PLUS it makes me happy to see you guys happy.

I think I mentioned that a person could just save them for later
IF they ever wanted to become a regular subscriber.

I don't want to show partiality to anyone so I do for all equally...
...when I hear the Spirits telling me to do them.
Graphics are "part" of my calling.
I don't think the Spirit World has anything
to do with collecting subscription fees on AT.

Also, Raya, I get pms from people on here asking me to do
them, and a lot of them are NOT subscribers...so I do equally for all

Another thing, once I do an avatar and give it from my heart
the person is free to do "whatever" they want with it and use
it "wherever" they want.

Your words, even though you say you were joking, have hurt my heart...to even think that.
I guess you just don't know me.
