Since LoScar got brought into the mix with this topic, I compared my 1998 Secret Tarot with their newer decks Tarot of Pirates, Ludy Lescot etc., and the Secret Tarot card stock was noticeable more substantial, so their stock quality over 20 years has gone down too, but not to the same degree as Llewellyn. Also, if they make up for it with premium editions of better stock that's a solution. For me, I would rather pay $25 over $15 for a better product. The Secret Tarot from 1998 is ideal quality. So beautiful. I'll be interested to see how this Santa Muerte premium edition compares to all the decks discussed here.
