Tarot Cards indicating Months

Golden Moon

Does anyone have a list?

Thanks :)

If I'm not mistaken:

swords = days
cups = weeks
wands = months
pentacles = years.

Nytebugg

I always think of it as
swords = hours/days
wands = days/weeks
cups = weeks/months
pents = months/years

Golden Moon

Thanks, but what I meanwas June, July, September etc.

The Cups cards.

Ace: one month from the reading.
Two: two months.
Three: three months.
Four: four months.
Five: five months.
six: six months.
seven: seven months.
eight: eight months.
Nine: nine months.
Ten: ten months.
Page: eleven months.
Knight: twelve months.
Queen: thirteen months.
King: fourteen months.

In the same sense, Pentacles do years, Swords do weeks and Wands do days.

There are no specifics on that which I know of, but you can always use the zodiac.

Emperor = Aries (essentially April)
Hierophant = Taurus (essentially May)
Lovers = Gemini (essentially June)
Chariot = Cancer (" july)
Strength = Leo (" August)
Hermit = Virgo (" September)
Justice = Libra (" October)
Death = Scorpio (" November)
Temperance = Sagittarius ("December)
Devil = Capricorn (" January)
Star = Aquarius ("February)
Moon = Pisces (" March)

Simplify with the courts if you like, just take out all of the courts minus the pages, shuffle them and the card you turn over, that zodiac is the month. But you need to decide which stands for which first. It's generally agreed that cups are water signs, pents are earth signs, wands are fire signs and swords are air signs, but no one ever agrees on whether the Kings are cardinal signs or fixed or mutable--or maybe the Queens should be fixed, or maybe the Knights should be mutable....

It's up to you to decide ahead of time which gets what. Queens Mutable? Knights Cardinal? ;)

Thank you nisaba & Thirteen:D.

Hi everyone!
I do NOT want to cause any side picking or big dilemma... but here Nisaba says Wands=days, ( the previous posts say months) and other "discrepancies" so to say.
I have also read that Minor Arcana predict days/weeks, court predicts months.....
These are all rather different........ Anyone have some insight? Is this a situation where I should be interpreting for myself what the time frame should be for ME, or is there not so much wiggle room?
Thanks!

Look. I'll whisper, we don't want Nisaba to hear.

My system works, and it works well. But ultimately, it;'s because you *train* your deck to do it, and devote a whole deck to timings.

Pick a system. It has to be a system that doesn't have holes in it, omissions or room for interpretation. It should also be a system that makes you say "Aha!" when you hear it described. Then, having decided on it, stick to it absolutely, and stick to it for life. Teach your timing deck to respond only to that system. At first, while your subconscious mind, your Otherworldly contacts and your deck are getting used to it, there will be errors. But be consistent, and be firm. It will work, if it is a system that is workable.

Mine is workable.

Nisba, I like this...simple, straight foreward...but I have difficulty with pentacles equals years, eg. lets say the KP comes up...14 years into the future, to me, is quite some time for tarot to be predicting.

Also, do you just choose one card for time in your system. If you choose more than one, how do you time read that?
