I know i am veering off into the stratosphere here, but what about the numerological value of the colors, i.e.the attire of images. If you check out DuQuette's Thoth Tarot there is a table given on page 67, "Colors Attributed to the Trumps". The value of the colors are quite universal.
I don't know whether this proves helpful. I have to experiment with it and see if it makes a discernable difference.
