The Hourglass Spread- can be done every equinox!

I used this spread during the Fall Equinox, and it was fantastic. I'm going to make a habit of using it every 6 months. Just wanted to share it with anyone looking for a cool spread to do on the Spring Equinox (March 21st).

Here's the format:

9...10...11
..7.....8...

1....2....3



Base Level, cards 1-3: Sands that have fallen in the last 6 months
(accomplishments, major changes, problems, things
needing resolution)

Second Level, cards 4-5: Sands recently fallen (energies passing out of your
life)

Middle Level, card 6: The present moment; events currently happening in
your life.

Fourth Level, cards 7-8: Sands about to fall; influences that will enter your
life very soon.

Top Level, cards 9-11: The vast potential of the next 6 months; what may
come to pass.



Also...

In Bottom and Top levels, the left-hand cards relate to business affairs, the middle cards relate to relationships, and the right-hand cards relate to spirituality.

What exactly do you mean by buisness affairs?

I enjoyed this spread a lot, and also now plan to do it every equinox. I'm curious to see if some of the cards that are now in the top of the hourglass will be in the bottom of the hourglass when I do it again in six months. Thanks again,

I interpret "business affairs" to mean anything related to your career or financial situation.

At least, when I did this spread, the cards definitely related to my change of career, etc.
