I THINK, but do not presume to know, that perhaps she meant...

9^3 = 729

if you add up all the numbers = 729 = 18 = 9

So when cubed, 9 goes back to 9, so to speak.

Long ago I worked for a bank, and when I worked in the credit card department the following thing happened: a couple got a new credit card account from us, and sent the cards back for a replacement number because the original number ended in 666. The letter said "We are not devil worshippers."

Ah ok. But any number that is divisible by 3 and is cubed would add up to 9 in the end, right? (3, 6, 9, 12, etc.)
