What would you say is the scariest/creepiest Tarot deck?

You may have been joking, but seriously, I was creeped out as I went through it the first time and have never looked at it again. Some of the faces and colouring are beyond weird and into Twilight Zone.

Of the decks in my collection it is the Enochian. I have used it though and could actually work well with it. But some of those cards haunt me in my dreams even...

Most decks don't creep me out...especially if they are meant to be unsettling.

But this one does. I can't quite put my finger on it...it's just...icky.

Wormweird Tarot

Yes, I find this to be one of the creepiest decks for me as well. It does have a kind of subtle humor, if your sense of humor is very twisted. I have to agree about the Tarot of the Elves, as well. The storyline is so dark.

I was both joking and not joking. What creeps me out the most is that it was published at all, that this is the state we're in. It also feels strangely post-apocalyptic, as if we would all glow like that if we were irradiated by WW3.

In any case, no (other) deck really creeps me out, although some decks have cards that are decidedly darker than the other cards in the same deck. The relatively harmless Morgan-Greer has one of the scariest Devils I've seen. Although my only true love, the Thoth is decidedly creepy, and my best friend likes me reading for her but never with that one.

The entire Sirian Starseed just screams "cult" to me, and is unsettling. The Alice manga deck seems... well, no other way to say it other than a deck for pedophiles.

Oh gods yes...the Enochian...totally forgot about that one...it seriously weirded me out as well...and it's a shame because I really wanted to like the system it used...
