Would you continue to read tarot even if it physically aged you?

I would continue to read as normal; couldn't be worse than someone who indulges with booze or cigarettes as much as I indulge with the cards! :D

LOL! I love it. So far we have some hardcore tarot readers that wouldn't give a fig what it did to their bodies.

Laura and I on the other hand would be taking measures to preserve the shell.

:surprise:

I think divination keeps me feeling younger since it gets those creative juices flowing. I'm not sure if that's a real cause and effect, but it's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Oh definitely ! I used to be young, beautiful, fit and handsome !

Now I am aged old. wrinkled, decrepit and ugly .... just check out my grey beard and hair !

Just goes to show what 40 years reading tarot does to someone.

Dont worry Gothy ... when you look old ... you will still be the same beautiful person inside

(unless you worry too much about the outside that is ... ;) )

I think it goes back to when her mom, my grandmother was getting readings from a lady. This woman looked really worn out and haggard like for her age. This of course could have been her genetics but she insists that someone must pay a price for having this extra knowledge.

Face it - when was the last time anyone went to a Tarot reader that was stunningly beautiful, stylish, and completely gorgeous like Giada DeLaurentis who fries things in her TV kitchen wearing a $300 silk blouse and NEVER wears an apron? :bugeyed: Most Querents, I suspect - would like their readers to have 'a little age' on them! :joke:

- every reading takes six months off your lifespan? -

Of course, it definitely does cut your lifespan by half an hour, each time you do a thirty-minute reading...

500 readings ?

Time for a face-lift ! :)

I think in your original post (before you edited it) you said something about noticeably aging with each reading? Or maybe I'm remembering wrong ;) Anyway I got a kind of Dorian Gray mental image...
