mysterious dream symbols

OH I know there are more than one kind of dream, having premonition dreams can some times be scarry, but would you agree that most dreams are the minds simple way(complex rather) of dealing with everyday issues?

Another type of dream involves possible messages/instructions/ hints from guides or the higher intelligence. These sometimes come along with synchronicities in waking life, part of a pattern of guidance. This is the category I think these symbols I am curious about fall into.

These were all separate dreams, Red Buddha & White Broom were in the context of wandering around schools. Not any schools that I know . The daffodil dream was very short, as described above.

So would I be on the right track as far as these dreams being the calling to educate yourself in say, the white magic {broom} the ways of the Druids{daffodil} or maybe that was a flash of a past life? and the Buddha being perhaps to find out more of what he is all about?
