Oops you included the promotional cards while shuffling

While rearranging your deck according to arcana, suit, and number/court, you noticed that you included the extra fly/promotional card while shuffling. Would you disregard the reading wven if these cards did not turn up in the spread and perhaps re-do it? Or would you choose to accept it anyway?

What if a fly card turns up in one of the positions in your spread? Would you just set the card aside, pick a new card and move on, or will you lay the promo cards aside and re-do the reading?

Yes, I have accidentally shuffled the promo cards into the deck. If I happen to notice them, but they are not part of the reading, I put them aside and continue the reading as drawn.

If they show up as part of the reading, I put them aside and draw a different card, but still consider the promo card as a shadow card or an "extra" message to be included with the reading.

If these cards turn up in a spread I interpret it to mean I should buy whatever is being advertised

I would just deal another card to replace it though.

I've done that before more than once. I just take that card and put it aside, then go on drawing cards for the spread.

I have never had this happen but I would set it aside.

Trying to imagine this.... as I always use spreads with positional meanings and deal the entire spread face down (hence no way to replace the card), I suspect that I would treat that position as 'not answered'.

l always put the promo cards aside in a drawer so l don't have to worry about shuffling them.

Thanks for the replies. I recently did a series of 6 mini-readings, and I was pretty pleased with myself until I concluded the session. When I was arranging the cards to cleanse them, I found out I included a fly card in the mix. I was so absent-minded. I am just a bit OC, so I thought I should perform all the readings again? But then I thought perhaps fate wanted me to include the card anyway so the right ones would turn up, so yeah. And with your answers, I guess there's nothing to worry about.
