And let me know what tea that is that gives one vivid dreams (Bet it's Valerian or Melatonin-related?)

Silverlyn - You're right, it is Valerian. I just now remembered. :p

Guiding Cauldron

Valerian is VERY strong and should be used in small doses as well. a lil goes a long way! :)

Erm, apparently I was wrong. Though I do have Valerian here with me right now [in pill form], that's not what it was. Valerian just makes you sleepy. Apparently this 'dream herb' is called Calea Zacatechichi aka Dream Herb or Leaf of God.

Hmmm, interesting herb..I'm gonna go look for some, thanks!

I'll let you know how it goes if I find and use it:)

Mugwort is also supposed to be good for stimulating dreams... I have used it with good results.

Briar Rose

Victorian papers ( a catalog company) used to sell a tea that was used in the Victorian times to promote vivid dreams. It was a blend of:

peppermint tea
strawberry tea
chamomile tea

I bought it and it worked.

If you want to have vivid or prophetic dreams a tea of mugwort.

See this thread: http://www.tarotforum.net/showthread.php?t=19896

You can also put it under your pillow to make your dreams more vivid of burn some on charcoal blocks... Very good for increasing psychic awareness.
I have an incense called Dream Snake by Mermade Magickal arts which has mugwort in it. It's lovely: http://mermadearts.com/ and is very good for making dreams very vivid.

In my experience valerian helped me to sleep (it's the active ingredient in valium or diazepam) but it didn't make me dream.

Sage tea, good for all things to do with higher awareness.

Tastes horrible, though. Salty. Ugh!
