I went to see the Sky Disc of Nebra this week end (currently this interesting item of the Bronze Age is here at the REM in Mannheim).
Apart from the Sky Disc there were also a lot of other items of Bronze Age among which several sickle shaped votive offerings with a kind of engraved numerical code (maybe it was a kind of votive lunar calendar) but no numbers were more than 18. And lo and behold, which card is No 18 in tarot?! THE MOON!
The guide explained that 2 x 18 is 29 so another indication for the lunar cicle. BTW the visible golden dots (= stars) on the Sky Disc are 29 in number.
