Odin, yes. Christ, no. As a young Pagan, I've not read too much on Christian lore, so any coincidence there is exactly that. My dad (who was an Asatruar at the time), suggested that since I was taking the Odin route with The Hanged One, I should read up on the Hávamál in the Poetic Edda so I could ensure that the card was as true to Norse mythology as possible.
