Treppner Course or Brika-Verlag Ebook

something weird is happening.

last time that i wrote to them, i soon received some email thingy that had an empty spot for who it came from, an empty spot for who it was addressed to, an empty spot for the subject line, and the email was completely empty.

i had written to them again last night, and this morning woke up to the same kind of email.

I'm wondering if it's related. I'm going to try looking for a different email address or such.

Ok, I just went on the site again, and found this page for sending email:
http://www.shop07.britta-kienle.de/shopy07/?p=p_1

that is the address close to where I had placed my original order, so maybe this will work.

Each time I try to have google translate the pages, it cuts the pages off at the very top...so I can't read what's written on the majority of the pages. :(

There is a little British flag icon at the upper left-hand corner of that page. If you click on it, the English version of the page appears and you can simply write your e-mail in the space provided. Britta's husband manages their business transactions, and he is fluent in English; it is he who will probably read and answer your e-mail (that is how it worked for me, at any rate; we had several pleasant exchanges).

Oops on the fluent in English part.
As my email to you mentions, I had written my sentences short and direct in case they had to use a machine translation. Unfortunately, short and direct, even with please's and thank you's, most often reads as rudeness. If he's fluent in English, then he might have thought I was being rude. :( (Though I doubt that would have interfered with their doing business with me.)

As for the British flag, I have clicked it. It opens a new tap in windows, which opens up their Home page http://www.brika-verlag.com/

Here, if I click the english compact course, I get the shop address: http://www.shop07.britta-kienle.de/shopy07/shopeu/?p=productsList&iCategory=17

If I click the english basic, follow, practice course, I get the shop address: http://www.shop07.britta-kienle.de/shopy07/shopeu/?p=productsList&iCategory=16

If I click the german flag (both sides are german flags), I get: http://www.brika-verlag.de/ where I have to click on the one link which takes me to: http://www.kartenlegekurse.de/ where if I click the British flag, the cycle repeats with a new tab/window.

Am I missing something?

BTW, thank you so much for the help you've offered (again).

Hi Ann. I'm starting to think that this might be a browser issue, because when I click the British flag it translates the page and doesn't take me anywhere else. I use a Mac with Safari as my browser, and I think other people who have received the course use a PC with Internet Explorer. Maybe Brika has tried to send the materials and the browser prohibits transmission in some way. I am far from being a computer expert and this might not have anything to do with it, but the website issues make me wonder. If you have access to another browser than the one you customarily use, it might be worth checking out what happens when you click on the British flag, etc.

Your tone is very polite and patient, I seriously doubt that you came across as rude in your e-mails to Brika-Verlag.

YAY!!!!

i just recieved an email from them, with an attachment (the ebook) and a simple reponse of 'next test'. Poor guy.

I sent a reply back saying that it came through, and thanking him for his troubles.

Woohoo!!!!
No more mountain...time for the stars!!
