Why runes are NOT as popular as tarots ?

Yes, they are absolutely gorgeous! Way out of my price range for now. I tried to bookmark the page so that I could come back at a later date and maybe shop but it said lol "aha you didn't say the magic word" lol. So I guess if I mean when I do become financially better I will come back to this thread and hunt it down.
However with making my own I think I will study as I go and maybe things will stick in my minds eye better.
