AT's ATC Tarot Deck Project and Exhibition

A very brave Tarot newbie here......not sure how all this works but I have an image budding in my head for the King of Cups so if nobody has already created anything I would love to put my name to the King of Cups.

Also is the deadline May??

Where do I post my finnished card to?

There is no longer a deadline (that was May 2007....); we are just hoping it ever gets finished at all !!!!

Here is the list. But we don't know who to post to at the moment; we THINK rabble is still in charge but she's not been around for a while.... When all the cards are ready to roll. you have to print as many as there are participants + one extra (looks like being about 55 or so) and send the lot to whomever - and also send enough money somehow to cover the cost of posting a complete deck back to you.

As far as I can tell these are the cards with no-one attached - unless someone has volunteered one since the list was updated:

Five of Swords
Seven of Swords
Page of Swords

And I was wrong before about:
Knight of Pentacles (Crowned one has him)
Ten of Wands (Keigh has this one)

Newbie to tarot, and newbie to this trading card thing... but I like crafting and am not too bad at drawing, and this seems fun, how does it work?

I have ideas for Knight of Pentacles and Page of Swords, if they are not already taken. I can do one, or both if needed.

Also, Arania, so sad to read about your loss. One of my best friends lost a family member last year too. I wish all the best for you and your loved ones through the difficult times you are going through.

Yes, more or less.

But we don't know for certain sure who is organising it at the moment And we don't know exactly how many we need to print till we know how many people are in on it - you only get ONE deck even if you make 6 cards, like ! And I don't know who is co-ordinating at the moment to make sure only ONE person is doing each card !!!! Is anyone up for that bit of it for now - Aulruna? you being a mod and that ??

I will have to print out multiple copies of two cards, as I have created two, and I will get one complete deck.

I've been going through the thread and have updated rabble's list.

Oddity, I've counted you in!

However, I have not checked if rabble's account of finished cards is correct - just made sure no double assignments, and a complete list.

Right now, we would each need to print a minimum of 40 and a maximum of 43 cards (if 3 new people should sign up). I think that's manageable.

I'll try to get this list moved to the start of the thread by a global mod, but I can't do the organizational side of things, like PMing everyone and collect and distribute the cards.

I've compiled a to-do-list though:

1. PM everyone on the list and ask for card status/willingness to participate.
2. Set a new deadline (or it will be years until we finish) and communicate it.
3. Collect all snail mail addresses from the participants and calculate postage for the different countries. For those participants in the same country as the organisator, think about requesting self-addressed stamed envelopes (as is customary for ATC swaps).
4. Agree on the medium on which to print, card quality, etc. and communicate those submission guidelines.
5. Monitor progress of project and give the go for printing & sending
6. Keep track of the incoming cards...
7. Send reminders to those who have not sent in theirs.
8. Sort the decks and mail them out...
9. Have several huge drinks along the way.
