It's my Mum's birthday today and she decided that we sholud all go to a seaside resort. Well... There is a lovely rock and gem shop....enough said.

So I bought this spirit quartz which, I think looks more like a fairy quartz I will let you guys decide.

There was a Gem & Mineral show here last weekend. groan.... but, despite being poorer I had a really great time!

What is Eudialyte with Arfvedsinite??? My books don't have it. Really pretty. Dark pink rocks in a black matrix. Mined in Quebec, I was told.

Roger that, absolutely marvellous! I'll be telling my friends at the local crystal shop to get me some of THAT! Is it rare? Expensive? Do I have to fast for a week to be able to afford a piece?
