Apologies if this has been discussed at length already (no pun intended!) but...
I was casually flipping through a great book called Tarot Plain and Simple by Anthony Louis when I noticed this possible interpretation for Justice. This surprised me... (at first) but then looking at the Robin Wood card... well yeah. Those scales and that sword DO kind of look that way.
The thing that puzzles me about this interpretation is that I'd always viewed this card as being non-sexual, cool and highly rational. Lawyers, contracts, agreements... etc.
So what surrounding cards in a spread would lead you to focus on those scales and that sword in such a way? Any examples?
IS it a sexual card - or does it represent fertility as a theme?
Just wondering like!
