I received the Convos deck today. I like it, but there are a couple of things that are a bit annoying; The Lovers card says "The Lover" instead of Lovers and the back design is totally uninspiring. It is gray and boring. Apart from that, it's a nice deck and I like the colours. The card stock is of adequate quality.

Actually, I think the original name for this card was "Love". But "The Lover" probably is closer to the original than the RWS "The Lovers".

I have deck 13, http://www.tarotforum.net/showpost.php?p=787393&postcount=60 printed around 1969, and it says The Lover. I just got the Convos too, and I agree about the boring backs. My Convos has French titles though, not English.

The original title of almost any TDM is "L'amoureux".
It is singular and means The lover.

That's exactly i wanted to say to you, thanks Coredil.

I'm french and I've always used Marseille deck so don't hesitate if you have some questions about things that are annoying you. Rider and Marseille versions are very different.

I vote for the Spanish Tarot. It's an authentic Marseilles, but it looks pretty weird. On the Sun card, one of the children has three arms! The titles are in English and Spanish. I don't always like the English titles (like calling the Popess "The High Priestess", which has nothing to with a Marseilles-style deck). Neverthelss, I use this deck more than any other.

B P Grimaud do a version of their deck with French and English titles on it. It comes in a red box while the version with French titles only comes in a blue box.

I have a Grimaud deck with English titles only. I got it 2nd hand some year ago, so for all I know it may be an OOP edition.

But to be honest, it's not that hard to learn the meanings of the 22 trump names plus the names of the suits and the court cards; and the Marseille nomenclature doesn't correspond exactly with modern English names for the trumps. E.g. to translate Le Bateleur, trump I, as The Magician would be somewhat misleading.

I have learned the French names for the cards; it's not me I'm concerned about, it's the querent. Most people will not understand the French titles and I would feel more confortable if they could just read the title for themselves, which they can do if it's in English. Otherwise I would have to translate which is no great hardship, but somehow I feel the querent would not get the full experience if a translation is involved.
