Little Red Ridinghood as the Fool in the Fairytale tarot...appears to me as the embodiment of innocence. But when I look at it I immediately think of Sondheim's "Into the Woods"... the music starts playing in my head and I'm off on a tangent! "Focus," I say sternly to myself, "focus."
I generally prefer jester-like fools as in the Fergus Hall, Medieval Cat and Renaissance decks - the Fergus Hall probably being my favourite depiction. I do however also have a soft-spot for the RWS one.
