I love the Holy Light.. The day i received the deck in the mail....I sat in bed with it for about 3 hours... I was hypnotized by the pictures... I have the book also.... I read for myself with this deck and I kinda like it this way....

Feel the same way about Place's decks. My favorite is the Sevenfold Mystery, but I haven't even read with that one. I do enjoy looking at them.

ooo, thanks for that! I really think I neeeeeed this deck. having the app is nice, but not the same. I wanna touch them, and really look *into* them... <puppy whine>

Really glad you love it so much!

I have the Sevenfold and the Saints, and I do love them :) there is something almost serene in the severity of line, and the absence of frills. But yes, merely a gazing deck, not a reading one! Agree :)

Ah, tarot of the Holy Light. I must have you!

So.

I need the help of an expert enabler, and no de-enabling at all! So somebody, tell me why I should buy:

1) The Wonderland in a tin

2) the Barbara Walker in a Tin

and last but not least:

3) The Sun and Moon in a tin.

What specific details make these decks desirable and necessary, given that I don't yet own their untinned siblings? And why is the tin so important?

Go for it, folks: make me hit the Buy Now button. My last online purchase was a weatherproof jacket and before that was another non-Tarot item - tell me why I am an idiot for squandering my money on other things and why I need to buy these decks.

You need them all because you don't have them yet. They come in tins and are therefore extremely cute. The Wonderland is just so damn quirky that you simply can't not add it to your collection. The Sun and Moon is pretty. The Barbara Walker has gods and goddesses and is multicultural. What's not to love, indeed need, about that?

Get two of each, as I'm planning to do when the Maria Celia comes out in a tin. The tins get scratched and dinged, so you need one to keep pristine.

You're really saving yourself money. You can buy all three for less than the price of one independent deck. Be thrifty with your Tarot purchasing! 👍🏻

@ Nisaba
You could be the anorak lady with old decks or the anorak lady with new fancy shinny decks in a tin! You choose!

Nemia

Yeah, great, thank you all.

I just ordered three decks in a tin: Aquarian (how is it that I don't own this deck?), Wonderland and Sun and Moon.

Great work. You can all go to sleep now, your Enabling Mission for Today has been accomplished. See you again tomorrow!

This is a little bit after the fact, I'm afraid, but can anyone tell me why I don't need the Baroque Bohemian Cats Gold... again...? And why I do?

because there is a sucker born every minute...and you are way too intelligent to go down their road...
