I really enjoyed this dream, it had such clear imagery!

Mansion - A large and expansive state of consciousness
Hornets - troubling thoughts, stinging remarks
Vacuuming - The need to clean up, particularly your state of consciousness

So literally, for you, Daniel, the dream may indicate that one path to connecting better with your guides is by cleaning up your thoughts and your state of consciousness, or basically do what you can to raise your vibration. The queen hornet could represent some of your particularly troubling thoughts, like resentments or insecurities. A spider is about creativity and for the queen to try to ride out on a spider might suggest that you find creative ways to calm your thoughts in order to have a more clear channel to receive messages from your guides.

In the meantime I've had no dreams for you yet, but we've got a few nights left.

I agree with this interpretation. I had a vivid dream two nights ago but lost it before I could write it down...blame my crazy cats Here's hoping for another dream tonight

I do feel that it's about purging any excess thoughts that aren't of a positive nature, so as to open the floodgates required for clear communication and manifestation.

DREAM TWO:

I am part of an art class group (university) at this lakeside area - bottom of a hill yet on the other side of that hill is our hometown.

Anyways, in this sudden flurry of WE HAVE TO GO, I cant find my back pack and my Nikes have been taken in all the chaos. Some students are going in car pools, others walking, some staying and the group I am with is deciding between going on a car (only not enough room) and/or cabbing it. I decide I am NOT GOING without my backpack or sneakers...HELL NO!
So, I opt to stay behind by myself so I can find my belongings.

I do find my bag, but no sneakers.

NEXT thing that happens is I am on a white taxi going up the hill, but I make the driver turn around as I am not going without my dang shoes. We have only driven about 50 metres and he charges me about $11.00 to $12.00 to my disbelief , but all I know is I want shoes on my feet not just socks! He drops me off at the side of the location we were drawing and painting at and I notice this McDonald sign and restaurant right in the hub of it all which seems odd as it is amongst all this beautiful scenery such as gardens, walkways and lake yet it actually kind of fits in just by itself with only the M showing rather than the whole building which is covered in green climbing plants and shrubbery. However, it does stand out as being different.

As I walk down further, I decide to do some more art work as I have come to terms that the sneakers are gone and either I have to wait for a bus or another taxi, and it is then that I see Mrs Lilly (old friend's mum from my hometown) and she is asking me to join them for dinner later on only she cant stay and I want to paint some more. Strange things is I have paint tubes, but feel I should go up to the McDonalds to pay $5.00 for the paints they provide for students! (No idea why).

The last thing I remember is looking at the lake whilst sitting on a bench opposite it about to start some painting and knowing that beyond that hill is my home, but I have to wait for either a taxi or bus. But I am happy enough.

MY THOUGHTS: I think "nature" is something key for you to opening up a connection through doing things like grounding and/or balancing, so that it can kick start the work needed. Plus to stay focused and determined, like I was about getting my belongings, yet know that there are set backs (lost shoes and backpack), that things will not be so straight forward (sudden flurry to leave/Mrs Lilly inviting me out of the blue) and that not all is what it seems (McDonalds).

Also, with the taxi and bus theme, I think perhaps certain things will happen when they are meant to happen to help you along the way when you are meant to go from one level to the next in your goal to be more spiritual and to connect with your guides.

Daniel, I'm glad you remembered to post your question. I was about to send a PM to remind you!

I feel a sudden need to post the question the day before at that point! suddenly I remembered, so weird

I hope I can dream the answer for you--I will tell you that much of the time when I'm asking my guides to come to me - they don't always come. In fact they seem to show up when I LEASE expect them too! I hope I will have better luck in finding out for you how to connect with your guides!

I'm so glad the randomness of them is not just me!
it's a whole new area for me probably in the last year and glad that is how they seem to work. but can always ask them for help and support

Well, I was rather surprised that a dream did occur last night for you, Daniel, after my problems with dreaming for Ty. However, the sounds of this dream may be more for Ty, even though I concentrated on Daniel's question. I'll let you both decide.

So, last night I dreamed that I was working for a large company and two new positions within the company came open. Both managers in these areas wanted me, personally, for the position.

The first position is one that seemed more profitable, but it was to me a ho-hum type of a job and though I liked the salary with it, I didn't quite want that job compared to the second position.

The second position involved working in a warehouse and ensuring certain packages are mailed out to our customers in a timely manner. The manager there asked me to do a 'trial run' wiht it by taking an important piece of mail to the post office for them, as I was headed out to lunch with my 3 girl friends. I reluctantly said yes, and reluctanly because I didn't yet work for him and I was also on my lunch break.

so, they handed me a large envelope and 4 rather large items, 2 of which were license plates and then a piece of paper that spoke of hte 4 items. "What is this?" I asked the manager, (re: the plates), and he proceeded to tell me the customer needed them too for a project and to be sure to mail it out today.

so, off to the P.O. we go first, all the while chit-chatting and having a good itme, and then off to lunch. On the way back to work, didn't I realize that I forgot to include the 2 other items, and only mailed hte plates and the paperwork. I was SICK. I didn't know what to do. The friends were of no help either, didn't really know what to say or do for me. So, I went back to the manager, but before I could tell him anything, he is chatting away happily with me--never allowing me to talk. He began to show me all kinds of pictures of his farm and of his cows, (apparently he had many cows, ) and asked me if they weren't beautiful, etc. etc. I told him yes, they were, and kept trying to butt in to tell him what I did wrong, but he wouldn't give me a chance! then, before I knew it and could react, he walks away, not paying any attention to me anymore.

The 2nd in charge comes into the office where I am still standing feeling lost and wondering if I can call teh post office to stop that package till I get there and add these additional two items, or if I could get ahold of the addy for the customer and send out a 2nd package. I was feeling quite concerned about the whole thing and sick to my stomach. So the 2nd in charge comes in and looks at me quite quizzically-and I can tell that HE is the one who doesn't want me in the position, putting me on my guard about this mess. i talk to him about the customer and the items mailed and try to get the name of the company out of him and recall looking at a clip board w/company names and addresses, in hopes I'd find it but to no avail. I had to do this discreetly. I didn't knwo what I was going to do about it.

then, the dream ended.

Since Ty was asking about a work related question, I thought it could still be for him, even though I ws concentrating on Daniels question. So you guys can take it from here and try to figure it out for yourselves! Or perhaps for you both?

I had for Ty as well a dream but could not decide who it was for
I wonder if Ty feels it fits in their life, I don't work currently so the actual workplace doesn't fit with my life. However the anxiety in the situation does fit with me. I would worry about coping in situations like that. If it is for me, I don't know what the meaning or purpose is for me.

one interesting thing and gonna write about it replying to all the dreams. Some of the things that people dreamt of have appeared in my real life in the last week! it's very intriguing. After this dream the license plates appeared in a different way. An American friend posted on their social networking that they bought customised license plates for their car in the state they are in (California). Afterwards the DMV (is that who manages the plates in America?) contacted them to tell them they cannot give plates not on a car anymore in that state. It has to be on a car and they made a mistake and now must return the plates. That status update was the last thing I read online before going to bed last night. I think it's really interesting in the context of this, so I wonder more if the dream is for me. cars and license plates normally would bore me but it's funny that status is memorable to me.

It's completely random I saw the friends status and then replied your dream (catching up today) afterwards. Anyway thinking it all over

DREAM ONE:

Had to think about this dream as wasn't sure how it quite connected to "guides".

In my dream I am sitting there "internally processing" whilst seeing the face of the person I am thinking about.

This dream is really all about what is going on in my mind whilst fixated on the object of thought.

IN MY MIND:

Back and forth I am weighing things up: The whys? why nots? What ifs? If nots?

And what it is, is that years back me and this guy (real life) went our own ways as we were no longer growing together or on the same path anymore, and yet in this dream and in the NOW I'm trying to work out a resolution and I'm actually thinking of getting together with him and his family.....and mine.

In real life he does have kids- I don't.

And then it dawns on me after I decide to get this get together TOGETHER that WAIT A MINUTE why am I doing this when it has been done and dusted for years!?!?!?

So, that is the dream, and why I was trying to work out how it connects to your question.

MY THOUGHTS:

I think this could be touching on two things maybe:

1) There is "internal conflict" going on like maybe things like: Logical vs not logical. Spiritual vs reasoning. Believing yet doubting. Inner voice vs own thoughts.

2) That certain life experiences with others have obviously left there mark, but that you are starting to work towards resolving things or finding your own resolve only with a more clearer awareness.

BOTTOM LINE: Maybe you would achieve your goal if you weren't over processing about/questioning what you get or see. Also, it might be an idea to remember there are different ways to connect which is not always through just something like meditation.

I was very sceptical about spirit guides and my logical brain just ignored them although friends swear by them giving them messages, however in the last year I had had messages during tarot readings which has changed my beliefs.

Actually, I do tend to overthink, over analyse too when I think about it, but honestly that relationship holds no emotional baggage, but rather fond memories now. Resolving problems is another thing, but I try to resolve issues as they crop up, never let anything sit if it can be addressed asap.

However, as it was about a "relationship" which is what you just pointed out, makes me wonder if it is how you "relate" to your guides as in the "relationship" you have with them which is an ongoing battle of whys, why nots, how to find a way etc.

So, I had two dreams while thinking on your question while I was in the mountains - though I'm not certain if the first one was for you, but I will continue attempting to dream. I don't feel the second one was for you but I will ponder it.

In the first dream, I was in a large mansion - quite wealthy and successful. There were HUGE Japanese Hornets crawling EVERYWHERE. So...I took a vacuum cleaner and began sucking them up through the hose, going room to room. When I was done, I found the queen - and promptly attempted to suck her up. Then, these...walking multi legged baby hornets/wasps started crawling into a pair of shoes in the corner. The Queen then rose, riding a large spider. Anticlimatic and unceremonious - I sucked them both up in my vacuum cleaner.

this dream was definitely one of my strangest. I will meditate on the symbolism and post my interpretation - I just wanted to post it before I forgot more of the details.

interesting in the last dream circle or the circle before that I dreamt of a large mansion for someone else. It was filled with something that I cannot remember now, like snakes or something like that.

also I said that in CN's dream I encountered a symbol in real life. The day before your dream TY, we had something huge flying in the house. It flew in through some open doors and there was big arguments about what it was. One suggestion was a hornet (which are really really rare in the UK but we have just had a heatwave, I think it might have been a honey bee). Anyway it was large and it was a nightmare to get it outside again

I think in the first dream circle I took part in, in Jan people kept dreaming of different houses for me.

looking online (as an alternative to Melle's brilliant interpretations), Mansion can show potential and growth. feeling stuck in a rut in your current situation. Hornet symbolises troubles and danger. Spiders are feeling a bit of an outsider in a situation and vaccuming can be cleaning up, there is also an element of loss of control but in this dream I think it's taking control.

it's interesting for me that the mansion is not just a house and the hornet is bigger than a wasp. I do have a little habit in my personality of being pretentious as a negative trait. I have to keep it under control
